Young4FUN.ch - Young for Freedom (Freiheit), Independence (Unabhängigkeit) and Neutrality (Neutralität) Switzerland

Young4FUN.ch is an independent organization which is very critical of the EU and the NATO. Our members come from the full spectrum of non-extremist politics. We are not a political party and our aim is to observe, discuss and take part in the foreign affairs of Swiss politics. The organization was established in 1999 as a youth movement to prevent the membership of Switzerland to the European Union. Young4FUN.ch was founded on the bases of this movement in January 2001. The referendum of 2001 regarding the Swiss membership to the European Union was won with a sensational success.
FUN stands for Freedom (Freiheit), Independence (Unabhängigkeit) and Neutrality (Neutralität) and also briefly presents Young4FUNs main targets. Our political viewpoint is also based on our fight for democracy. Furthermore FUN means that young people are won to take action in order to solve serious problems of international politics in a severe yet fascinating and engaging fashion. Moreover it is important to note that our concept is successful, this is underlined by the fact that we are one of the biggest youth organizations of Switzerland (over 1'000 members).
As we have a strong international focus we search the relationship with movements from other countries. We would like to discuss future issues regarding the European Union but also the current struggles. We like to share experiences and ideas among youth organizations which are critical of the EU and/or NATO.
